These doll shoes are boots that have been inspired by the Georgian style of the time - a longer, narrow boot to create an elegant shape.  These black 'lace up' boots fasten in back with velcro and end just above the ankle. 

Lydia's hat is inspired by ladies' military fashions at the time and is made from dark blue stiffened cotton-linen with white lace trim.
